St. Joseph tops McMahon for third straight win to open boys basketball season

St. Joseph defeated McMahon 73-45 for its third consecutive boys’ basketball victory on Tuesday.

Jason James scored 31 points and St. Joe’s took an 18-6 lead in the first quarter. Brian Robertson (9 points) powered in the inside game for a 41-14 halftime lead.

Glenn Manigault and Derrick Long combined for 14 points.

Sergio Thermidor scored 17 points for McMahon.
