St. Joseph tops Farmington in girls basketball

St. Joseph defeated Farmington 73-41 in the first round of the Canton Christmas Tournament.

The second game of the tournament versus Hall was postponed due to COVID issues on the Hall team.

Kayleigh Carson made four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points to lead coach Chris Lindwall’s Cadets.

Kate Rudini scored 12 points, dished out eight assists and made four steals.

Erika Stephens had 12 points.

Dennaye Hinds grabbed 11 rebounds, had three steals, blocked a shot, and scored eight points.

Kirsten Rodriguez had 10 rebounds, two blocks, and eight points.

Izzy Casucci took down 12 rebounds and made two blocks.

Daria Fournier led Farmington with 22 points.
