St. Joseph girls basketball never lets up, defeats Greenwich

St. Joseph started fast and never let up when it defeated Greenwich 65-40 in an FCIAC girls’ basketball game in Trumbull on Friday.

The Cadets took an 11-point lead on the Cardinals and increased it at every break to improve to 9-3.

Kayleigh Carson scored 11 points and had eight assists and three steals for coach Chris Lindwall in the win.

Erika Stephens had eight rebounds and two steals.

Kirsten Rodriguez had 11 rebounds.

Dennaye Hinds had 10 rebounds and four steals.

Hayley Wilson scored nine points for Greenwich (4-8).
