St. Joseph defeated visiting Trumbull 12-9 in a Senior Day girls’ lacrosse game on Saturday.
Meghan Hoynes scored four goals to lead the Cadets, who won their third straight game to improve to 6-3.
Callan Vaughn had three goals for Trumbull, now 3-5.
St. Joe’s Maddigan Leifer, Izzy Casucci and Casey Mayglothling each scored two goals.
Olivia Badeaux and Hannah Siljamaki had one apiece.
Leiffer (three), Casucci (two), Badeaux (two), Hoynes (two), Mayglothling and Autumn Murphy had assists.
Sam Miller made six saves.
For Trumbull, Alessie Lye (two), Kiki Grant, Lauren Delaney, Avery Genet and Lauren Buck added goals.
Lindsay Bull (two), Lauryn Wright and Catie Coppola had assists.
