St. Joseph defeats Central in boys basketball

Ethan Long scored 22 points to lead four St. Joseph players in double figures when the Cadets defeated Bridgeport Central 84-54 in boys’ basketball.

Johnny Niv made three 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for St. Joseph, which evened its slate at 3-3 overall (1-2) FCIAC).

Derek Long and Deshawn Hall-Johnson each had 10 points.

Ethan Long had five rebounds.

Brandon Hutchison scored seven points to go with four assists and five steals.

Chris Bracey scored 11 points for Central (1-8, 0-3 FCIAC).
