Rogers fills stat sheet, Bassick girls basketball defeats St. Joseph

BRIDGEPORT —Bassick’s Cashe Rogers scored 31 points in the Lions’ 55-50 girls basketball win against St. Joseph on Tuesday.

Roger, who had 12 rebounds, four blocks and made seven steals, was 9 of 11 from the foul line as Bassick moved to 2-1 on the season.

Mimi Davidson scored 23 points to go with 11 rebounds and five steals.

Dennaye Hinds had 14 points, 14 rebounds and four steals for St. Joseph (5-3).

Izzy Casucci scored 11 points with 10 rebounds and three blocks.

Kristen Rodriguez scored 10 points.

Erika Stephens had six assists and three steals.
