McCain's 3-point shooting leads Trumbull past Central in boys basketball

TRUMBULL -- Johnny McCain made four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points to lead the Trumbull boys’ basketball team to a 61-42 win over Bridgeport Central on Tuesday.

Mileeq Green and Sage Gatling each scored 11 points as coach Buddy Bray’s Eagles won for the second straight game. Green had 12 rebounds.

Jaden Palmer led Central with 21 points.
