Andrew Gore scored with 22 seconds remaining to lift the St. Joseph High boys hockey team to a 3-2 victory over South Windsor on Wednesday.

Matt Greenhut and Colin Powell had the assists on the game-winner.

The Cadets (4-2) took a 1-0 lead on Powell’s goal off a Sean Smith assist before South Windsor (2-5) tied things.

After a scoreless second period, Bryan Canforatta found the net at 8:08 of the third with Zach Usinger and Ryan Corcoran earning assists.

Four minutes later the game was deadlocked at 2 before Gore tallied.

Marc Van Etten had 18 saves.
