Foul shooting helps Greenwich top Trumbull in boys basketball

Greenwich used a 10-point scoring edge from the foul line to defeat Trumbull 54-49 and end the visitors three-game win streak on Friday.

Greenwich’s A.J. Barber was 5-for-6 from the stripe, made a pair of 3-pointers, and tied James Pile for the team scoring lead with 13 points.

Trumbull was led in scoring by Johnny McCain with 14 points, including two treys. Connor Johnston scored 13 and Mileeq Green had 12.
