Contributed Photo / Connecticut State PoliceTRUMBULL — A stretch of Route 8 south is expected to be briefly closed Wednesday morning for a “follow up” on a crash, according to police.
At 9:05 a.m., Connecticut State Police said Route 8 south would be closed between exits 11 and 10 starting at 9:30 a.m. for a follow up on a crash. The closure is expected to last about 30 to 45 minutes, police said.
There will be a detour set up through the town of Trumbull while crews are on scene with the highway shut down.
Police did not provide any additional information regarding the crash.
