Nora Louise Pomianowski, age 80, entered into eternal rest peacefully on June 26, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Eugene Pomianowski, daughter of the late John Fourchette. Predeceased by her sister Hattie Canfield. Nora was employed early on at Reads Department Store and then cleaned houses in and out of town. She was a dedicated parishioner of her church St. John\u2019s Episcopal and a longtime member of the ladies auxiliary. She was loved by many especially for her \u201cfun\u201d sense of humor. She loved gardening and baking for her church. Nora will be missed by many but never forgotten, especially her longtime companion and friend her cat, \u201cToto.\u201d Survivors include her son John and his loving wife Leah and their daughters Hailey and Sage; daughter Pamela Wickham and her fianc\u00e9 Paul Gorman and her son Kenneth Wickham all of Trumbull; a sister Dorothy Bockniak of Fairfield and devoted stepmother Dorothy Fourchette of Monroe and her daughters Geraldine Westover, Patricia Marshall, and Laloni Burton and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. John\u2019s Episcopal Church 768 Fairfield Ave. Bridgeport. Interment in Long Hill Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN.
