Stella D. Balusek, age 87, of Trumbull, passed away November 28, 2013 in Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton.
Mrs. Balusek was born in Longmeadow, MA and raised on the east side of Bridgeport. She was a longtime Trumbull resident.
A graduate of Harding High School, she was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft and Kelly Services working in the payroll department. She then worked for the Town of Trumbull in the Public Health department as a school health aide.
She is survived by her beloved husband Emil P. Balusek Sr. of Trumbull; two sons Emil P. Balusek, Jr. and his wife Anne Cottle of Trumbull and Brian G. Balusek and his wife Ann Mammel Balusek of Winnetka, Illinois and three grandchildren Meryl, Elisabeth and Gwendolyn Balusek as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull handled arrangements. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Bishop Wicke Health Center 584 Long Hill Ave, Shelton, CT 06484.
