Kenneth Struber Bloxsom, age 92, of Trumbull, passed away on December 1, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center surrounded by those who cared about and loved him.

Mr. Bloxsom, a retired salesman, was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

He proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the CT National Guard, 242nd Coastal Artillery Corps Battery E when activated to federal service, serving from Jan 10, 1940 to Nov 10, 1944. In search of accurate information, he traveled from Connecticut to Virginia, and many places in between, spending many hours in libraries, historical societies and cemeteries. Finding ancestors as far back as the 1600s, Ken created a family tree that spanned over 400 years.
