Joseph P. Goodwin, 83, of Trumbull, auditor with the Department of Defense, groundskeeper at Tashua Knolls, husband of Marilyn Cocchiola Goodwin, died July 20, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. March 13, 1933, son of the late Patrick and Bridget Caulfield Goodwin; U.S. Army, Korean War.
Besides his wife, survivors include three children, Joann Bresnahan and her husband, Daniel of Wethersfield, Mark Goodwin and his wife, Elisa Volpati of Bethel, Kathy Martin and her husband, Larry of Georgia, a sister, Patricia Mattie of New York, 10 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
