John Daniel (Dan) Kreuttner, age 24, of Trumbull, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2015. He was born in Greenwich, CT to James and Eileen (Carmody) Kreuttner.
Dan graduated from Trumbull High School and was currently attending Housatonic Community College. He served almost four years in the Marine Corps during which he completed two tours in Afghanistan.
An avid golfer, he was a member of the Yale Golf Club.
He is survived by his parents James and Eileen (Carmody) Kreuttner of Trumbull; his brothers Lt. Colonel Timothy Kreuttner and his wife Olivia of Germany and William S. Kreuttner of Bethesda, MD; his nephew Calvin Kreuttner and his aunts and uncles John M. Kreuttner and his wife Phyllis, Mary Carmody, Susan Bravo, Maureen Carmody, Michael Carmody and his wife Jane, Daniel Carmody and his wife Sandy, Paul Carmody and his wife Kim, Dr. Martin Carmody and his wife Stacy and Helen Propersi and her husband August.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Theresa Church 5301 Main St. Trumbull, CT. A reception will follow at Tashua Knolls Golf Course in Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday, March 20, from 4-8 pm. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project through the funeral home.
