James A. Dunn, 85, of Findlay, died at 5:52 a.m., Thursday, November 24, 2016.
He was born on August 4, 1931 to the late Howard and Esther (McMurry) Dunn.
On October 29, 1955 he married Barbara Farringer and she survives along with two children, Michael (Colleen) Dunn of Austin, TX and Martha (Tod) Boyd of Findlay. James is also survived by a brother Terry Dunn of Bloomdale, sister Margaret (Arthur) Miller of Portage, three grandchildren, Jackie Boyd, Claire (Eric) McGreagor, Cecilia (Nate) Williams and a great-grandson, Hart Williams.
He was preceded in death by a grandson J.T. Boyd, brothers Murray and Deleanor Dunn and sisters Sandra Dunn and Gloria Sponsler.
James was a member of Journey at Christ Church. He enjoyed gardening, painting and golf. Mr. Dunn will be remembered as a very positive person.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Journey of Christ Church. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Journey at Christ Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
