Giuseppe Antoniani, 85, of Trumbull, employee of Contract Plating for 45 years retiring as a foreman, husband of Giovanna Maini Antoniani, died March 28, in Connecticut Hospice, Branford, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Strangolagalli, Province of Frosinone, Italy on Aug. 9, 1930, son of the late Benedetto and Marcella Antoniani.
Besides his wife, survivors include four sons, Silvio Antoniani of North Carolina, Joseph Antoniani and his wife, Diane of Cheshire, John Antoniani and his wife, Diane of Stratford and Perry Antoniani and his wife, Wendy of North Carolina, a sister, Maria Tomassi and her husband, Giuseppe of Belgium, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by two sisters, Eugenia Tomassi and Assunta Antoniani and three brothers, Lorenzo, Vincenzo and Fiore Antoniani.
Services: Friday, April 1, 10 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
