George Samoskevich, age 84, of Trumbull, passed away December 19, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Mr. Samoskevich was born in Bridgeport to the late Nick and Veronica Samoskevich.
He was a retired machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft where he was employed for over 28 years. An army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post 177.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and ardent beekeeper.
He is survived by three brothers Nick of Naugatuck, Peter of Newtown and Fred of Woodbury; one sister Mary Palo of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Veronica Samoskevich.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on at a.m. the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery. Stratford. Friends may call on from 4-8 p.m.
