Edwina “Wini” Elliott Moreland, of Southbury, formerly of Trumbull and Danbury, wife of Parker E. Moreland Jr., died Oct. 23, at home.
Born June 27, 1934, in Fort Worth, Texas, daughter of the late Ora Leveridge Elliott and Edwin A. Elliott.
Also predeceased by her sister, Nina J. Mueller.
Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters, Janet (Vincent) Caggiano of Watertown, Kay Marbeth, of Danbury, and Sharon (Paul) Hiznay of Fairfield, six grandchildren, a great-grandson, brother- and sisters-in-law, Otis and Anne Moreland of Colorado Springs, Colo., and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private. A celebration of life service will be held at King Street United Church of Christ, 201 South King St., Danbury on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m.
