Doris (Dee) Maggiori of Trumbull, journalist and freelance writer, founder of the Trumbull Woman's Club, Eucharistic Minister at Christ the King Church in Trumbull for more than 20 years, daughter of Florence and Maurice McGrath, wife of the late Herman J. Maggiori, died June 2, in St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Survived by two nieces, Michele Desmond of New Boston, N.H., and Sharon Paradiso Ph.D., of Northampton, MA, a grand-niece, Nina Paradise of Northampton, MA, and a beloved godchild, Lisa Keller of Lakeville, and many members of her adopted families, the Robert Schmidle, Sr. family of Newtown and the Eugene Rodgers family of Mountainside, N.J.
Services: Tuesday, June 7, 11 a.m., Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
