She and her husband were ardent fans of UConn men and women basketball. Dolores and her husband were members of BACIO (Bridgeport Association of Cultural Italian Organization).

Above all, her greatest joy came from time spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her outgoing personality, warm smile and caring ways endeared her to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
