Carolyn L. Mardozian Piazza, age 73, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Robert S. Piazza Sr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury with her loving family by her side.
Born in Bridgeport on September 9, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Antonetta DeLucia Mardozian and was a graduate of Warren Harding High School.
She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who always put the needs of her family first. Her strong will and family values will continue to live on through her family, she will be deeply missed.
Survivors include four loving children, Robert S. Piazza Jr., and his wife Stephanie of Trumbull, Randall Piazza of Trumbull, Craig Piazza and his wife Fredi of Florida and Cheryl Messina of Trumbull, three cherished grandchildren, Lindsay Pereguda and her husband Tomasz, Robert S. Piazza III and Jack Messina Jr., a sister, Joyce A. Mardozian of Bridgeport; dear cousins, Grace Pastorok and June Matyjasik, as well as additional cousins and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Jack Messina Sr.
Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
