Obituary: Anthony M. DeFelice, 90, of Daytona, Fla., formerly of Stamford

Anthony M. DeFelice, 90, of Daytona, Fla., formerly of Stamford, police officer for city of Stamford, husband of the late Theresa Foligno DeFelice, died Dec. 17, at the Florida Memorial Hospital.

Born June 20, 1925, in Stamford, son of the late Daniel and Josephine Pia DeFelice; U.S. Air Force veteran, World War II.

Survived by four children, Michael DeFelice and his wife, Maryann of New Canaan, Anthony DeFelice and his wife, Laura of Trumbull, Paul DeFelice of West Haven and Sharon Bellofiore and her husband, Marc of Trumbull, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a brother, Victor DeFelice and his wife, Janet of Stamford, a sister, Eileen Gonza and her husband, Salvatore of Milford, two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers, Daniel and Joseph DeFelice and a sister, Clara DeFelice.

Services: Tuesday, Dec. 22, 11 a.m., St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry St., New Canaan. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan. Visiting hours: Monday, 4-8 p.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
