Anna Pavlosky Pistey, age 95, of Trumbull, the widow of Michael Pistey, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in her home.
Mrs. Pistey, a retired assembler for Honeycomb was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania to the late George and Anna (Yatsina) Pavlosky and has been a lifelong area resident.
She was a longtime member of St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church, Stratford.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Strode of Stratford, and Shirley Piatak of Trumbull, 3 grandchildren, Kash Cochrane, Dawn Piatak-Purvis, and Lisa Piatak, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Donald Piatak, brothers, Michael, John, George, Stephen, Charles, and a sister, Mary Sheesley.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 27th at 10 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Very Rev. Luke Mihaly officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
