Letter: Trumbull seniors deserve an apology

To the Editor:

I am writing this in response to the letter written by Rob Levine. I am a senior, and I take an offense to Mr. Levine saying that the young families in Trumbull pay more taxes which subsidizes the amenities that seniors enjoy.

I have lived in Trumbull now for eight years. We have young families with children on our street and their children attend our schools, we pay more taxes than most of them. Yes, we have more property then they have, but we have no children going to school and since most of the taxes go toward education, I think Mr. Levine should apologize to the seniors of Trumbull for his statement.
