Letter: Stranger helps cyclist in need
To the Editor:
I do not know your name. But, on Tuesday July 26 around 3:30 in the afternoon you drove by me sitting exhausted by my bicycle at the side of the road.
You turned around, came back, and asked if I needed help. I did because I had tried to do too much, go too far on a humid, 90-degree day. We loaded the bike and me into your SUV and you drove me home.
I was so exhausted I failed to ask your name. But what I do know is you live in Trumbull and work as a secretary at a church in Wilton. I also know that our society needs more conscientious, thoughtful and considerate people of character with concern for others like you. Thank you again for your help. I did need it.
