To the Editor:

I have lived in Trumbull for the better part of two decades. My wife and I raised our three children in town. For many years I’ve been involved in community service activities — including leadership positions in the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and Jewish Family Service in Bridgeport. This year I was given the opportunity to give something back to the town by running for a seat on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

As a real estate attorney, I have a great deal of experience in land use matters and I would like to put my expertise to work on behalf of the Town of Trumbull. I understand that ZBA members act as impartial arbiters in zoning matters and I consider myself well prepared to weigh thoughtfully the law, our town's zoning regulations and the facts.

The integrity of our town’s boards and commissions is a critical element of the fair allocation of rights and benefits afforded to our town’s citizens and one that is important to me. Equally significant is the need for each member of the ZBA to work together in resolving issues brought before it in a non-partisan manner. If elected, I will certainly do my best to address Trumbull ZBA matters as a cooperative member of a well-functioning government body.

Thank you for your support.
