Column: What can The Times do for you?

With the holiday season in the rearview and the calendar flipped over to a new year, The Trumbull Times has begun looking at how it can improve as a publication for its cherished readers.

What stories are happening that aren’t being covered? Is there somebody in town who would make a great human interest feature? When do you like to read your news? Where?

These are questions The Times editorial staff wants to have answered by its readers. Feedback is encouraged, and suggestions may be sent to Please mark the email header “Changes for 2016.”

The staff would like to know what are considered to be pressing issues for today’s Trumbull residents and how the paper can better serve the community as its watchdog. Similarly, and beyond the scope of general news reporting, The Times wants to enhance its feature storytelling and satisfy its readers with well-balanced, daily coverage of everything that’s going on in town.
