Obituary: Thomas K. Bakalar, 84, of Trumbull
Thomas K. Bakalar, 84, of Trumbull, worked for Producto Machine, then Sikorsky Aircraft, husband of the late Elizabeth Skonieczny Bakalar, died Jan. 15, at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield.
Born March 10, 1931, in Bridgeport, son of the late John and Anna Chantlos Bakalar; U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survived by children, Kenneth L. Bakalar and his wife, Marilyn of Trumbull and Susan B. Hogan and her husband, Steven of Lebanon, four grandchildren, his stepdaughter, Nancy Auger and her husband, Austin of California and two stepgrandchildren.
Also predeceased by his brother, James Bakalar and his wife, Marian.
Services: Wednesday, Jan. 20, 11 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Visiting hours: Wednesday, 10 a.m. until time of service.
