Phyllis “Flip” Rubin, age 76, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2015.
Phyllis was born in New York City, and grew up in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Mark and Rose Heisner.
Mrs. Rubin began her career working for CBS Radio and Prudential, where she met her husband of 40 years, Philip Rubin. Together, they founded their family business, Fairfield Pool, and settled in Trumbull.
Mrs. Rubin is survived by her devoted children, Dr. Alyssa French and her husband Lew, Darin Rubin and his wife Jennifer, Jamie Rubin, and adored grandchildren Sarah, Daniel, Rebecca, and Hannah French and Sienna, Zakary, and Wesley Rubin, as well as by numerous grand-dogs.
Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip Rubin in 2002.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at the B’nai Israel Cemetery, 472 Moose Hill Road, Monroe.
