Mary C. Grosner Thompson, 97, of Trumbull, worked at Chance Vought, builder of the Corsair and at Columbia Records, wife of the late Franklin L. Thompson, died Sept. 15, in the Jewish Health Center, Fairfield.

Born in Bentleyville, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1919 to the late John and Ethel (Mihalek) Grosner.

Survivors include daughter, Janice Dowd and her husband, Tim of Long Island, N.Y., two grandchildren, Timothy F. Dowd, who died just hours after his grandmother, and Jennifer Dowd, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by brothers, John, Joseph, Daniel, Andrew, George, Stephen, and Jim Grosner, and sisters, Ethel Kuhar, and Helen Platko.

Burial: Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull.
