In 2005, Larry was honored by the Fairfield County Sports Commission with its first ever City of Stamford recipient. In 2010, Larry was honored by the Stamford Old Timers as one of their local honorees.

Larry worked for Norden Systems (and its various precursors) for over 30 years and then worked for his friend at Carlon Construction in Stamford. Larry stayed active with the Norden Systems group as treasurer of the Norden Retirees club.
