Obituary: Kenneth M Bradley, 77, of Trumbull
Kenneth M Bradley, age 77, of Trumbull, passed away March 27, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Mr. Bradley was born in New Haven to the late Robert and Alice Bradley.
He is survived by his estranged wife Beverly Bradley and was recently predeceased by his longtime companion Iris Mordaunt; who is survived by her daughter Shirley Legen and her husband, Martin, of Naugatuck and her son Dr. Christopher Mordaunt and his wife, Diane Wilson, of Mifflinburg, PA.
Working 17 years with Textron Inc., New Haven and four years with an Engineering Firm lead him to employment at Yale University’s Facility & Development Division for 26 years. He was an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years and continued to teach members in communication and search and rescue.
Following 9-11, he was instrumental in the assessment and creation of the Coast Guard Auxiliary radio network, covering the area from Albany, NY to New London, CT. Throughout his carrier, he received numerous accommodations and awards.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at 2:00p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with Reverend Elsa Worth officiating. Interment in Long Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
