Emma P. Salazar De Segovia, age 86, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Luis Vicente Segovia, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 22, 1929 in Atuntaqui, Ecuador, she was a daughter of the late Segundo Salazar and Zoila Victoria Lopez.

Before her retirement she was an employee of Stelma Inc., and jointly owned and operated “La Pepinana Grocery Store” formerly of Stamford, for many years.

She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who looked forward with great anticipation to her family coming together so she could enjoy the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Emma’s smile was the biggest when all of the kids surrounded her. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include her eleven loving children, Guido Segovia and his wife Agnes of Stamford, Emma Mora of Stamford, Norma Kleemichen and her husband Thomas of Trumbull, Lilia Ramirez and her husband George of CA, Tamara Guevara and her husband Manuel of Stamford, Nancy Segovia Cosme of Bridgeport, Luis Segovia of Port Chester, NY, Marina Larrarte and her husband Louis of CA, Irma Segovia, Sandra Segovia-Cantu and her husband Arturo and Cecilia Segovia, all of Trumbull. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jason, Sean, Jennifer, Alex, Kimberley, Lisa, Zerica, Marlon, Anthony, Michelle, Charles, Sheila, Priscilla, Lea, Melissa, Lauren, Marcel, Justin, Megan and Travis, 18 adored great grandchildren, 11 brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Keith Segovia.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
