Concetta D’Aiuto DeGirolamo, 81, of Trumbull, a retiree of Remington Products, former seamstress, died Oct. 11, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford.
Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy on March 27, 1934.
Predeceased by husband,Amedeo DeGirolamo, parents, Ameleto and Vita Petitti D’Aiuto.
Mrs DeGirolamo had previously worked as a seamstress for Venus Lingerie and the Rose and Paul Adam Dress Shops. Concetta loved to cook and will be remembered as a loving a wife and mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Amedeo DeGirolamo, her brother, Michele D’Auito and his wife Rosaria, a sister, Rosa Petitti and her husband Michele and her brothers in law, Nicola DeGirolamo and Antonio Iorio.
Survived by a daughter, brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Services: Friday, Oct. 16, 8:30 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Visiting hours: Thursday, 3-7.
