Jerome (Jerry) Thomas Cook 5th
Jerome (Jerry) Thomas Cook 5th, age 56, of Trumbull, passed away January 17, 2013 in his home.
Jerry was born in Bridgeport to the late Jerome T. and Mildred (Nyberg) Cook Sr. and was a longtime Trumbull resident.
He was a 1975 graduate of Trumbull High School.
An avid golfer, he was the greens keeper for Tashua Knolls Golf Club in Trumbull. He was also the former proprietor of Cooksville Antiques. He was a civil war collector and enthusiast and a longtime member of the Trumbull Lions Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Peggy) Bond Cook and his step daughter Emily Beers; his twin brother Jeffrey T. Cook; his sister MaryAnn Cook all of Trumbull; his sister-in-laws and their husband Maxine and Charles Petruccelli of Redding, Nancy Bond Brennan and Kevin of Trumbull and Chet and Gina Bond also of Trumbull; his niece Stephanie Shea; his great niece Gracie Penn and three cousins, John Palmer, Charles Palmer and his wife Robin and Claire Palmer Nickeson and her husband Norman.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church 6948 Main St. Trumbull. Interment in Long Hill Cemetery. Friends many call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trumbull Lions Club Scholarship Fund through the funeral director.
