After collecting public input, the Trumbull Memorial Day Parade Committee announced that the annual parade will start at 10 a.m. again this year. A pre-parade Town Hall ceremony starts at 9 a.m. on parade day, May 26. William Ayles, George Areson and the committee thanked the public for participating in it\u2019s poll on the start time. The committee asked if residents preferred a 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. parade. \u201cThe Trumbull Memorial Day Parade Committee wishes to thank the concerned citizens who responded to our request for the time they preferred for the parade,\u201d Areson said. \u201cWe received 111 replies; 62% of which preferred the 10 a.m. start time. \u201cWe wish to thank all the concerned citizen who responded, and hope that all the people of Trumbull will make an effort to attend the parade.\u201d In the past, the parade started at 2 p.m. but the time was changed to 10 a.m. last year.
