Trumbull Food Pantry cupboards need restocking

The Trumbull Food Pantry is in need of food and household items for this upcoming summer season.

Food that can be donated includes carrots, canned chicken, juice boxes, tomato sauce, pancake and waffle mix, condiments, and snacks.

Also on the list are coffee-small cans, canned potatoes, cereal, dried beans, broth, and syrup.

There are several household items that the pantry constantly needs, including paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, and napkins.

Other items include laundry detergent, dish soap, women’s deodorant, and women’s hygiene products.

Donations to the Food Pantry can be made directly at The Center at Priscilla Place between the hours of 9 :00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If there are large donations being made, please contact the staff ahead of time at 203-452-5198 so they may be available to assist.

In addition to the food pantry drop off site, there are two community locations — donation boxes available at the Trumbull Library’s main branch on Quality St and boxes at Trumbull Stop & Shop on Quality St.

The Trumbull Food Pantry is located at The Center at Priscilla Place, 23 Priscilla Place, off of Huntington Turnpike near the Bunny Fountain and the Fairchild-Nichols Library.
