First Selectman Tim Herbst said Thursday that town employees will take a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 11.

"Tomorrow Friday, September 11, 2015 marks the 14-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed in suburban Pennsylvania," he said in a brief email.

"I would like all employees to take a minute moment of silence tomorrow at 8:46 am —the time the first plane, American Airlines Flight #11 hit the North Tower at the World Trade Center — to honor the 2,977 victims that lost their lives this day."
