Trumbull voters will choose between two candidates vying for a seat on the Board of Finance on Tuesday, July 22.

Republican Bill Haberlin, who has filled the seat since he was appointed last December is running against Democrat Lainie McHugh.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. and the same polling places will be used as for the general elections.

The polling places for July 22 are:

• District 1 - Hillcrest Middle School

• District 2 - St. Joseph High School

• District 3 - Madison Middle School

• District 4 - Middlebrook Elementary School

Trumbull electors residing in the 122nd State Representative district will also have a special election for the seat recently left vacant by the death of Rep. Larry Miller. This election will be held at St. Joseph’s High School and will require the voter to check in at separate table to obtain a ballot.
