Trumbull Democratic First Selectman candidate Vicki Tesoro announced on Sunday that her team of candidates will host a candidate meet and greet at the library this coming Saturday, Oct. 24, 10:30 a.m.

The purpose of this event is to give Trumbull residents an opportunity to meet the Democratic candidates running for office. Candidates from each Town Council district will be there, as will those running for the Board of Education, the Board of Finance, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the top of the ticket: Vicki Tesoro, Town Clerk candidate Cindy Katske and Treasurer candidate Anthony Musto.

“We’re very proud of our slate of candidates,” Tesoro said. “They’re extraordinarily qualified and they have deep roots in the community and knowledge of the town government. We’re certain that as members of the community get to know them, they will be as impressed as I am.”

“This is a terrific way to form a deeper relationship with your prospective representatives in community government,” Tesoro said. “In the end, this is about our community.  It’s important to remember that your elected representatives are your friends, families and neighbors. We’re honored to have the opportunity to meet voters, and ultimately, to serve you as we decide the direction of our town going forward.”
