With a special election approaching for a Board of Finance seat on Tuesday, July 22, the Registrar’s office is open for voters.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. and the same polling places will be used as for the general elections.

The office of the Registrar of Voters, from now until July 21, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voter registration. There is no election-day registration available for this election.

The polling places for July 22 are:

• District 1 - Hillcrest Middle School

• District 2 - St. Joseph High School

• District 3 - Madison Middle School

• District 4 - Middlebrook Elementary School

Trumbull electors residing in the 122nd State Representative district will also have a special election for the seat recently left vacant by the death of Rep. Larry Miller. This election will be held at St. Joseph’s High School and will require the voter to check in at separate table to obtain a ballot.
