American Legion Post 141 and the VFW Post 10059 wish to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the Trumbull Parks Department in assuming the work performed at Vietnam Memorial Park on White Plains Road.

Over the past nine years, longtime residents, veteran Richard Fattibene and his wife, Elaine, took it upon themselves to voluntarily and faithfully maintain the area. This year, as they were unable to continue, the commanders of the VFW and American Legion requested that the Parks Commission take over this responsibility. They immediately did so and have done an excellent job.

With our most sincere thanks and appreciation, we applaud the Trumbull town parks personnel for their dedicated efforts in making the memorial a site of honor and pride within our town.
