With less than a week to go before Election Day, the candidates for the town's top office will square off in a first selectman debate at Trumbull High School Wednesday night.

Residents can watch the debate live, from the comfort of their own home, on Trumbull Community Television (TCTV) at 7:30 p.m.

Three options to view include: TV, Charter channel 194 and Frontier channel 99; live streamed on computer on the TCTV website; and in the "watch now" section of shows on TCTV on-demand library, also on the website.

First Selectman Tim Herbst and Democratic challenger had their first of two debates last Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Trumbull Library.

Tonight's session will conclude the 2015 debate slate.

Tonight's topics include public safety, taxes, education, the senior-community center, and Trumbull's future.

The debate will be moderated by Trumbull Times editor Steve Coulter.

The discussion will be re-aired on TCTC from Thursday, Oct. 29 through Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 8:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Nov. 3, TCTV will share its exclusive live local election coverage in that time slot.
