In an effort to promote public health, the Trumbull Health Department is offering free blood pressure screenings at the Farmer’s Market, 1773 Huntington Turnpike, on Thursday, June 29, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Individual counseling and educational materials will be available by the Trumbull Health Department’s Public Health Nurse.
“The Trumbull Health Department knows how busy residents are and wants to make taking care of themselves easier,” said Health Director Rhonda Capuano. “Take advantage of one-stop shopping – grab your produce, breads, and flowers at the Farmer’s Market and have your blood pressure checked at the same time. Preventive care helps residents stay healthy.”
