Congressman Jim Himes (D-4) is making a stop in Trumbull this week as part of his 17 Towns in 17 Days Tour, which starts today.

According to his office, over the next 17 days, Himes will visit every town in the Fourth District, gathering input from constituents and highlighting the unique strengths of communities. During this year’s tour, Himes will emphasize the importance of the government and the private sector in investing in America’s future to build a stronger economy, create good-paying jobs, and keep Fairfield County a leader in innovation and quality of life.

This week, Himes will visit Greenwich, Shelton, Bridgeport, Redding, Wilton, Darien, Easton, and Trumbull. The remaining events for 17 Towns in 17 Days will be released later this week.

On Thursday, Himes will visit Trumbull’s Insports Center, 29 Trefoil Drive. His he will learning more about the energy efficient investments that has been made to the property.

Other stops include Blue Sky Studios in Greenwich, Shelton’s EAO Corporation, Bridgeport Innovation Center and more.
