Trumbull High School teachers rank in the “Top 20” in all of Connecticut, according to the website www.niche.com.  This ranking follows recent accolades where Trumbull’s two middle schools ranked in the top 30 statewide and all six of Trumbull’s elementary schools ranked in the top 150 statewide.

“Once again, Trumbull’s Public School System is earning statewide recognition as a model school system and our high school teachers have now proven that we excel at every level of public education, including our elementary and middle schools,” said First Selectman Tim Herbst in a statement Wednesday afternoon.

“With a graduation rate of 99.4% and 94% of our graduates pursuing higher education, there is no question that the caliber of our high school teachers is a large reason for this outcome and I am proud that independent assessments have validated this point.”
