ArtSmart. Winter workshops in full swing.
ArtSmart. Art Start — Join Miss Kathy for a first art experience designed to allow the youngest artists to experiment with a variety of materials and enjoy the simple pleasure of the creative process with those who love them. Ages 3-5 (with caregiver); Saturdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22; 9:30-10:15 a.m. Cost: $12/workshop
ArtSmart. Discovery-Animals in art — A fine art workshop series for the animal lover. Artists will work in a variety of professional mixed media, interpreting the wonders of wildlife through art. Ages 6-10; Saturdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22; 11 a.m.-noon. Cost: $15/workshop
ArtSmart. Explorers-Design in nature — A fine art workshop series for the sophisticated child artist to encourage the exploration of design found in the natural world. Artists will examine natural specimens, photo reference and masterworks as inspiration for a variety of mixed media projects. Ages 8-14; Saturdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22; 1-2:30 p.m. Cost: $20/workshop
ArtSmart. Art and tales — An after school art and craft workshop inspired by nature themed children’s literature. Mixed media projects will be created in the style of beloved illustrators. Ages 5-8; Wednesdays, Feb. 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26; 4:15-5:15 p.m. Cost: $15/workshop
ArtSmart. Escape for adults — Call a friend, grab a latte and join us for a mid-week creative workshop series designed especially for adults. Artists will work with professional quality media. Wednesdays, Feb. 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26; 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Cost: $20/workshop
ArtSmart. Art lab day — A great opportunity to explore a variety of media and learn some cool creative techniques to enhance your artistic skill. Each lab will allow time for experimentation and creation of individual projects in the featured media. Ages 7-12; Friday, March 28; 10 a.m.-noon or 1-3 p.m. Cost: $25 per lab.
