ArtSmart! Explorers — A fine art workshop series designed to encourage exploration of famous works of art, while nurturing self expression through the use of professional art materials, one-on-one instruction and challenging, open-ended projects. Instructor K. Vincent. Saturdays, March 16, 23, 1-2:30 p.m. Ages 8-12 Cost: $22 per workshop.

Fairy Cottages and Gnome Homes — Celebrate the arrival of spring and Earth Day with the creation of whimsical tabletop constructions. Crafters will work with twigs, shells, silk leaves, stones, feather and more to create a humble home for a magical garden guest (fairy or gnome included). Monday, April 22, 4-5:15 p.m. Ages 7 and up. Cost: $15.

Grow Your Own Frog — Participants will create a frog habitat to take home where they can rear their own frog eggs and see first hand their amazing metamorphosis. Tuesday, April 23, or Thursday April 25, 4-5:30 p.m.

Eco-Art Patterned Planters — Coffee cans transform into cool planters for the perfect container for that Mother’s Day garden gift. Potting soil, flower seed packet and hand painted plant poke complete the gift. Monday, April 29, 4-5 p.m. Ages 7 and up. Cost $15.
