ArtSmart! ArtStart! Workshops — An introductory fine art experience designed to allow the youngest artists to experiment with a variety of materials and enjoy the creative process with simple, open ended projects in a stimulating studio environment. Media to vary each week. Instructor K. Vincent.

Wednesdays: March 6, 13, 20, 27; 11 a.m.-noon. Ages 2-5 with caregiver. Cost: $60 for 4 weeks.

Animals in Art Workshops — A fine art workshop series designed for the younger artist with animal themed projects. Artists will work in a variety of media, interpreting the wonders of wildlife through art. Themes include endangered species, birds, insects, reptiles and sea life. Instructor K. Vincent .

ArtSmart! Explorers — A fine art workshop series designed to encourage exploration of famous works of art, while nurturing self expression through the use of professional art materials, one-on-one instruction and challenging, open-ended projects. Instructor K. Vincent.

Saturdays: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 1-2:30 p.m. Ages 8-12. Cost: $88 for 4 weeks or $22/workshop.

Maple Sugaring — Just as winter begins to loosen its grasp, the sap starts to flow once again. Learn all about the history of maple sugaring and the modern process of collecting sap and making it into maple syrup. Saturday, March 2, 11 a.m.-noon; $3/person or $10/family.

Build a Bluebird House — Join conservationist John Russell and learn how to build a bluebird house. Birdhouses can be placed and monitored at home, center or park. Saturday, March 9, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Members: $5, non-members: $7.
